Painting Sunsets in Pastel - PART 1

Sigh. I love sunsets. Don’t you?

There’s nothing like the radiant glow of late afternoon light by the ocean. If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to capture the mood and atmosphere of a sunset in pastel, then you’ve come to the right place. I’m here to help!

In this two-part video lesson, I’ll show you how to create moody, dramatic sunlight that breaks through coastal cloud layers, exuding a wonderful atmospheric glow.  Watch part one of this video today, and be sure to follow along step-by-step by signing up below to receive your own Painting Sunsets Step-by-Step Guide!

Be sure to come back for part two of this video lesson in just a week. Before long, you’ll be confidently painting radiant light in soft pastel.

PS. There is still space in my upcoming five-day workshop at the beautiful Hudson River Valley Art Workshops in Greenville, NY from April 1-5, 2019! This is such a unique opportunity to work together for a week, covering painterly techniques in both portrait and landscape. It would be an honor to work with you! LEARN MORE >
